Finished Lower Level Considerations

Why?

One of the most important questions we ask when meeting with you is Why do you want to remodel or finish your lower level?

This is because this question often answers many other concerns, such as:

· What is the expected use of this new living space?

· What desired amenities would you want? (e.g. half or full bath)

· What is your anticipated investment in your home?

Where?

Typically, homeowner’s may want to leave a portion of their existing lower level unfinished, for the furnace, water heater, and/or storage.

The question of where do we want to finish our lower level helps with your floor plan and traffic flow.

What?

What do you want your finished lower level to look like when it is complete?

Do you want to contrast your existing home’s décor and quality? Or, do you want it to match your existing home characteristics?

Assuming you would like your finished lower level to blend with your existing home’s features, we take great care to match such existing features as:

Railings                                                      Door and Trim Moldings

Columns Wraps                           Cabinetry
